He began his journey with Grant Public Schools in 2012 and is proud to serve the district that shaped his own educational foundation. A 2008 graduate of Grant Public Schools, he went on to attend VanderCook College of Music, where he earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2012, graduating summa cum laude.

He is inspired by the words of Victor Hugo: “Be like the bird who, pausing in her flight awhile on boughs too slight, feels them give way beneath her, and yet sings, knowing she hath wings.” This quote reflects his belief in resilience, courage, and trusting in preparation and passion, all while singing.

His greatest influence is his family. Their unwavering support continues to shape the person he is and the educator he strives to be. Every success is built upon their encouragement, belief, and example.
