Art - Rachel Kingsley -

Rachel has had a passion for art since the moment she picked up a pencil, or most likely crayon. She was involved in the arts when she was a student at GHS, participating in the ongoing county wide art shows, attending various art trips, and even taking the Graphic Communications class at the Newaygo County Career Tech Center.

She went on to study Art at Spring Arbor University and graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art, with a Concentration in Figure Drawing in 2010.

She found her passion in teaching only four years ago, and she is so grateful that she did. She teaches a variety of high school art classes including; Fundamentals of Art, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Printmaking, and Fiber Arts!

Her students inspire her every day, but not as much as her family. When she's not at school, she spends most of her time with them, walking through their fairy garden, drawing, crocheting, and drinking tea, lots of tea.
